Lead Teachers

Nancy Durham has been working with children in Montessori schools in the area since 1984, beginning as an assistant in a 3‑6 year-old classroom.  After studying Early Childhood Education at Western Michigan University, she attended Midwest Montessori Teacher Training Center in Chicago where she received her AMS certification in 1988.  Nancy has had experience as both a Toddler and a 3-6 teacher, in both half and full-day Montessori programs, as well as experience as a home daycare provider and mother of three daughters.  In 2001, Nancy and Wendy Appel founded Constructive Pathways Montessori School and she is currently the owner/Directress.   


Liz Palmer attended Montessori school from Toddler class through Kindergarten. She later attended Purdue University North Central where she began her studies in Early Childhood Education. In 2010 she began working at Constructive Pathways and completed her Montessori Training at Seton Montessori Institute in Clarendon Hills, IL in 2015. Liz is the Lead Teacher for the PM class at CPMS.


Assistants

Stacy O'Neal is a 2001 honors graduate of Purdue University. She has a life-long passion for learning and has worked in education since 2004, having first taught undergraduate courses and later accepting a position in student services administration for Purdue University North Central. In 2014, Stacy began working at Constructive Pathways.
